Chris Jones ’94

Chris is currently in his seventh year as an upper school dean at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, Calif., where he also coaches basketball, serves on the diversity, equity and inclusion committee and is faculty sponsor for several clubs. He was previously co-director of college counseling at Columbus Academy in Ohio. Before moving into high school counseling, Chris worked for seven years in college admission at three different institutions: four years at Kenyon College, two at Williams and one at American University. Chris received his master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. He and his wife, Janine, are the proud parents of two daughters, Taylor, age 18, and Avery, age 13.

Sean Logan ’88

After graduating from Williams, Sean spent six years as an assistant director in our office of admission. He then ventured to Stanford University to earn a master’s degree in higher education administration while also working in their undergraduate admission office. After a two-year stint as the associate dean of admission at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Sean served as director of college counseling at The Bishop’s School in La Jolla, Calif. from 2000 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010, Sean returned to Williams as an associate director of admission, then spent a year in Harvard College’s admission office before taking on the role of director and then dean of college counseling at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass. Sean’s wife, Joy St. John, is the dean of admission and financial aid at Wellesley College, and they have a nine-year-old son.

Alison Furey Nowicki ‘99

Alison has worked as a school counselor at Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, Mass. since 2004 and has served as the department chairperson since 2010. While the job of a school counselor is broad, much of her work with junior and senior students is on the post-secondary planning process. Alison earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Boston College, and completed her doctoral degree in education at Northeastern University. Alison and her husband, Mike, are the proud parents of identical twin girls, Morgan and Kamryn.
