Admission 101

A Program for Williams Alumni and Their Families
Monday, May 20, 2019

We are delighted to announce that the fifth annual Admission 101 program for Williams alumni and their children will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019. This full day of panel discussions and workshops is designed to help demystify the college selection and application process, give students and their parents tools for making informed decisions and provide information about the admission landscape at a range of colleges and universities.

If you’re an alumnus with a child who is a high school sophomore or junior, please join us! (Ideally, parents and students attend together, but either is welcome on their own.) We’ll have morning sessions with high school counselors (who also happen to be Williams alumni), a mid-day barbecue, afternoon workshops with Williams admission officers and students, and optional tours of campus. Please check out the full schedule and presenters’ bios. The program is free, but you do need to register by Thursday, May 9.

We’ve arranged for a special rate at the Williams Inn for Admission 101 participants for Sunday night. To book a room, please call 413.458.9371, and be sure to mention that you are part of the Williams College Admission 101 program. Want to find out what else is going on in the area? Check out Destination Williamstown, a calendar of events in and around Williamstown, or for additional information see the Williams Visitor Guide.

If you are unable to join us but would like to receive a copy of the college counselors’ presentation, or if you have questions about this event, please contact Barbara Robertson.
